Use Line Plots in Equatio mathspace Using Manipulatives

  • Other

Making a line plot is a great way to visually represent the frequency of data along a number line. Using Equatio’s mathspace, users can construct their own visual representation and provide the type of organization many users need to see a set of data. Select “Insert mathspace” from the toolbar. Then select “Smart Shapes.” Select “Number Line.” Once you click on the number line, a window to your right will appear where you will select the number of ticks for your line. Users can then select a shape or a letter using the Equation Editor to represent the data set. Align the object of choice, and create your line plot given the data set.
