Users of Equatio often need to make math and text on the same line inside the product. This is especially helpful when authoring word problems. The default setting is the math editor where prediction appears as you type. If you want to type text, you can do so, by clicking on the Insert Text button above the editor or by typing ‘te’ in prediction and tapping enter to begin typing words in Equatio. Once you have completed typing words, and you then want numbers, formulas, or symbols, tap the right arrow key to leave the text editor and this will return the user back to the math editor containing prediction.
