Using the Insert Text icon in the Equation Editor tab to create a text area is a great way to provide justification for each step in your work process. Additionally, the inserted text will be aligned on the same line as the math as long as you create another column next to your math. Creating another column can be accomplished by using the keyboard shortcut Shift + Spacebar or clicking on the 'New Column' button in the alignment palette. You may use the gray box to provide the justification for your methods to solving.
