Introduction to uPAR

The Universal Protocol for Accommodations in Reading (uPAR) is a repeatable and systematic diagnostic tool designed to give educators empirical evidence about whether a student may benefit from an instructional read-aloud accommodation or not.

In this training, you will learn more about the student uPAR experience including the progression of passages, text-to-speech support, comprehension questions, and feedback.

You will also take a look at the educator dashboard and how to manage students and interpret protocol results to decide on next instructional steps.
