Introduction to Read&Write for Education
Read&Write is a robust literacy support toolbar that supports students’ reading, writing, and research skills.
In this training, you’ll learn how Read&Write assists in building more independent learners by offering help with tasks like reading text out loud, understanding unfamiliar words, expressing thoughts and proofing written work. Read&Write works with lots of different platforms and learning management systems, including Google Chrome, Windows, and Mac.

Kimberly Nix

As a reading and training specialist, Kimberly has conducted 100's of trainings while traveling across the United States and Canada to present on Read&Write features and their applications to enhance learning for all types of learners. After 14 years of middle and high school classroom experience, Kimberly has been working with K-12 and Higher Ed educators on using Literacy Strategies for learning for more than 20 years. She has a BS in Elementary/Middle Education and an MA in K-12 Reading Education.
