In Equatio Mathspace, select the ‘Smart Shapes’ button.  Select the ‘Fraction Bar.’ Then, with your mouse, click and drag in the open space to create your ‘Fraction Bar.’  Keep in mind that ‘Smart Shapes’ give the user lots of flexibility in the menu.  You can change the number of segments.  You may also adjust the quantity of segments that are shaded.  Similar principles apply with your ‘Fraction Circle.’  Select it, click and drag to create it, and then head towards your menu to adjust the settings.  Both of these tools are an excellent way to reinforce a student’s understanding of fractions.
