There are many shapes and digital manipulatives for students to explore from within Equatio Mathspace.  Click on the ‘Shapes’ drawer, and then select ‘More Shapes.’  In the search bar, type in ‘Counting’ and choose ‘Counting Rods.’  Then with your mouse, click and drag in the open space to create your counting rods.  Now let’s go locate the ‘Counting Rods (with markings)’ in the ‘Shapes’ drawer.  Open ‘Shapes,’ return to the search bar, and type ‘counting’ one more time.  Choose the ‘Counting Rods (with markings)’ option.  Then with your mouse, click and drag in the open space to create the counting rods.
