How To Visualize Molecular Data
Equatio has a Molecular Viewer built in. Simply click on the STEM tools button in your toolbar and then choose the Molecular Viewer button. The 3D molecular viewer allows students to visualize, manipulate, and analyze three-dimensional structures of proteins and nucleic acids that have had their three-dimensional structures solved and deposited into the Protein Data Bank (pdb). You may utilize some of the buttons on the toolbar to rotate, to move, or to zoom in/zoom out. Notice there is a drop down where you can choose from different views if they are available.
